Description:	British film maker Hugh Kitson reveals the forgotten history of Britian's betrayal of the Jewish people in the 1920's and 30's in this hard-hitting documentary, which has received positive feedback from both Christians and Jews. The DVD documents the failure of the British government to fufill its pledge in the 1917 Balfour Declaration to allow "close settlement" of Jewish people in the Holy Land, and includes some very harrowing scenes of the plight of the Jewish people. The purpose of The Forsaken Promise is to stir up repentance in Britain for the nation’s reneging upon the Balfour Declaration – the forsaken promise – and obstructing the purposes of God in the restoration of Israel. There are many church leaders in Britain today who are crying out for the restoration of God’s favour upon this country, and there are some who believe that the Lord has not forgotten our spiritual heritage as a Christian nation. Because of the Church’s calling to be a ‘prophetic voice’ in the nation, this documentary’s prime target audience is the Church.
